10/7/2010 - 17/7/2010 A change of weather this week saw the carp once again spawning! But for the anglers there was also an improvement in the fishing.A total of 31 fish were caught ( 27 Carp and 4 Catfish ).Top Rod was Jim with a 7 fish catch which included carp to 41lb.The weeks biggest Carp of 41lb 5oz was caught by female angler Zena.The weeks biggest Catfish of 73lb was caught by Jim.All anglers catching.
3/7/2010 - 10/7/2010 The 7 anglers had a difficult week due to the very hot humid weather.A total of 20 fish were caught with all anglers catching!Top Rod this week was Jules with mixed 4 fish catch ( 2 x carp to 33lb,a 59lb Catfish and the Sturgeon at 55lb ).Colin catching both the weeks biggest Carp of 38lb and Catfish of 62lb.
26/6/2010 - 3/7/2010 The Carp were again spawning this week.The 3 anglers who booked the lake exclusively had to work hard to catch fish.A total of 15 fish (13 carp,1catfish and the sturgeon ) were caught.Top Rod was Steve with a 7 Carp catch which included the weeks biggest at 38lb 12oz.The only Catfish of 59lb was caught by Bruce.Paul catching the Sturgeon at 58lb.
19/6/2010 - 26/6/2010 A slower week for the eight anglers fishing.The group catching a total of 23 Carp with all anglers catching.The biggest Carp of 57lb 12oz was caught by Andy, he also landed the biggest Common Carp of this year of 37lb 8oz..Top Rod with 9 Carp was Andy "M",his catch included fish of 52lb, 46lb 2oz and 41lb 5oz.At least 10 Carp lost due to hook pulls! We advise anglers to increase their hook sizes ( 4 or 6 ) and use longer hook lenghts ( You are fishing for Big Carp ! )
12/6/2010 - 19/6/2010 This week Bluewater Lakes was visited by a second group of anglers from the Coln Valley.The group of veteran carp anglers like the previous group had a very good week with a total of 59 fish (56 carp,2 catfish and the sturgeon).Top Rod was Dave with a 27 carp catch which included fish to 51lb 8oz.News Flash ! the Friendly Mirror at a new best weight of 61lb was caught by 73 year old Harry.Two different Carp of 61lb caught so far this year !The Sturgeon was caught by Keith at 55lb 8oz
5/6/2010 - 12/6/2010 A much slower week with a total of 26 Carp caught by the 6 anglers fishing.All the anglers managed to catch, so no blanks! Top Rod this week was Wayne with a 12 Carp catch.He also landed the weeks biggest carp at 39lb 8oz.
29/5/2010 - 5/6/2010 This week a group of anglers from the Coln Valley fished Bluewater Lakes.The 7 anglers caught a total of 75 Carp,the best weeks catch this year so far ! Top Rod this week was Mark with a total of 26 Carp to 44lb.The weeks biggest Carp of 47lb 8oz was caught by Steve.
22/5/2010 - 29/5/2010 The 5 anglers fishing this week found the carp to be spawning,but they all managed to catch ! A total of 40 fish were caught ( 37 Carp and the Sturgeon 3 times! ) The biggest Carp caught was the friendly mirror at 57lb 15oz to Top Rod Keith,his catch also included 3 other Carp over 45lb ! The Sturgeon at 57lb was caught by Martin, Ben and Keith.
15/5/2010 - 22/5/2010 The fishing this week continued to improve.A total of 54 fish were caught (52 Carp and 2 Catfish)Top Rod this week was Mick with a 17 carp catch which included 4 x 40,s.Mick also catching the weeks two biggest Carp of 49lb 12oz and 49lb 8oz.The weeks biggest Catfish of 47lb was caught by Bob.All anglers catching personal bests !
8/5/2010 - 15/5/2010 The fishing showed an improvement this week.The 8 anglers catching 43 fish (41 Carp,1 Catfish and the Sturgeon). 30 Carp of 30lb+ with 8 over 40lb and 1 x 50lb.Top Rod with 12 fish was Chris,his catch included the weeks biggest Carp of 57lb 10oz and the Sturgeon at 56lb.All anglers catching personal bests this week !
1/5/2010 - 8/5/2010 This week we had 2 female anglers in the group who fished and they caught the biggest Carp and Catfish.Josie catching a new lake record carp by a female angler of 48lb.This record was soon broken by Caroline with a Carp of 50lb 3oz.She then followed this up with a new lake record Catfish of 96lb ! Top Rod of the week was Steve with a 7 Carp catch which included 2 x 40lb+ Carp, biggest 45lb 12oz.All anglers again catching with five anglers catching Carp of 40lb+
24/4/2010 - 1/5/2010 5 Anglers fished this week and they caught a total of 36 fish.The biggest Carp of the season so far was caught by Ray at 61lb.He also caught 5 x 40lb + Carp to 47lb and 2 x 39lb + The weeks biggest Catfish of 53lb was caught by this weeks Top Rod Steve with 12 fish.Again this week all anglers catching.

This week saw an improvement in the weather and also in the fishing! A total of 43 fish were caught - 39 Carp,3 Catfish and the Sturgeon.The biggest Carp of 53lb 4oz was caught by Nigel.Biggest Catfish of 68lb was caught by Phil.Top Rod this week was Patrick with 9 Carp to 43lb.All anglers again catching - No Blanks!

The fishing this week again started slowly but as the weather gradually improved so did the fishing.A total of 22 fish were caught by the seven anglers fishing.Biggest carp of the week was banked by Marco at 53lb 5oz.Top Rod this week was also Marco whose 6 carp catch had an average weight of 39lb 5oz ! No blanks,all anglers fishing this week caught.

The opening week got of to a slow start due to the continued cold spring weather! The six anglers fishing caught a total of 16 Carp.Top Rod this week was Dean who also landed the biggest Carp of the week at 39lb.

A total of 30 fish were caught by the the 8 anglers fishing this week.Top Rod this week was Jeff who also caught the biggest Carp of the week at 42lb 8oz and Catfish of 51lb.The Sturgeon getting caught at the start of the week at 59lb and again at the end of the week at 60lb!

Six anglers fished this week.Top Rod this week was Steve who also caught his PB Carp of 39lb.The biggest Carp was caught by Bob at 48lb 12oz,he also caught a 48lb 5oz Carp! both PB,s.The weeks personal best Catfish of 68lb was caught by Josie.Cheshire and Chris both catching the Sturgeon at 56lb 8oz.

A slower week due to a return to hot weather! A total of 24 fish were caught by the 6 anglers who fished this week. The biggest Carp of 50lb 6oz was caught by Mark,he also caught the biggest Catfish of 86lb 8oz and the Sturgeon at 57lb! Top rod this week was Barry with 1 Catfish and 9 Carp, including 2 x 40,s to 43lb 2oz.

A change to cooler weather conditions encouraged the fish to feed.A total of 72 fish ( 62 Carp, 9 Catfish and the Sturgeon ) were caught by the 8 anglers fishing this week.The biggest Carp of 57lb was caught by Richard.The biggest Catfish of 81lb 4oz was caught by Marco who also landed the Sturgeon at 57lb.Top rod this week was Marco with 19 Carp including 3 x 40lb to 43lb 4oz ,4 Catfish and the Sturgeon.Sanders catching a total of 21 Carp including 5 x 40lb to 49lb 5oz, with an average weight of 34lb 8oz !

Six anglers fishing this week.The weather continued to be hot! The anglers still managed to catch 9 personal bests!Top Rod was Jamie who also caught the biggest Carp of the week of 48lb,his catch also included carp of 46lb and 2 x 40lb. Biggest Catfish of 40lb 2oz was caught by Dan.

The eight anglers from Kent who fished this week had to endure the highest temps of the year so far! But they still managed a total of 40 fish,which included 7 PB,s Top rod this week was Peter with 10 Carp including 2 x 40lb,s.Peter also catching the weeks biggest carp of 41lb.Biggest Catfish of 90lb was caught by Steve who also caught a PB Carp of 40lb 2oz.

A family group of seven anglers fished Bluewater Lakes.All anglers again catching fish,with five catching Carp of over 40lb!A lake record Catfish of 90lb was caught by Alan.His record did not last long as his wife Chris caught an even bigger Catfish of 95lb!Top rod this week was Matt with 10 Carp to 43lb and the Sturgeon of 51lb.

This week the seven anglers on the lake found the fishing to have improved!! A total of 50 fish were caught ( 43 Carp,6 Catfish & the Sturgeon ).Top rod with 16 fish was Ken.His catch included the weeks biggest carp of 45lb 8oz,the biggest Catfish of 78lb (He also caught a second Catfish of 70lb+) and the Sturgeon at 51lb.Dan and Ashley also catching Carp to over 40lb.( There continues to be around half the fish hooked lost due to "Hook Pulls"?)

Two groups of 4 anglers,the Cambridge Boys and the Newhaven Lads fished this week.The lake continued to be slow,but all anglers managed to catch!Top rod this week was Jamie who also caught the biggest Catfish at 60lb+ Biggest Carp of 44lb was caught by Sam.Kelvin also managed a brace of 40lb Carp.

A group from Covertry fished Bluewater this week.A total of 33 fish were caught.The biggest Carp of the week at 45lb 12oz was caught by Kev.Simon also catching Carp of 44lb and 42lb in his six fish total.Biggest Catfish was caught by Jay at 80lb+.There were also two other Catfish caught over 60lb!The Sturgeon was caught by Andy at 52lb.

Bluewater Lakes wellcomed back Zacc Harvey and his group from Lakemore Fisheries Cheshire.The carp ceased their intermitant spawning and went on the munch!A total of 90 Carp were caught,which included 10 x 40lb+ and 23 x 30lb+.In addition there were 4 Catfish caught, which included 2 over 70lb.Top rod this week was Matt with 34 Carp.He also caught the biggest Carp at 49lb.All four Catfish were caught by Danny,with the biggest two being 74lb and 75lb.All of the group catching personal bests!

A change in the weather bringing colder conditions slowed down the catches.There were still some good fish caught that included the biggest carp of the year so far! The 58lb 4oz Mirror Carp was caught by John who also landed the years biggest Grass Carp of 32lb 8oz.A total of 40 fish caught for the week, 34 Carp which included 1 x 50lb, 4 X 40lb to 45lb 14oz and 12 x 30lb to 38lb 8oz, 5 Catfish to 51lb 6oz and 1 x 32lb 8oz Grass Carp! Top rod this week was Ralph with 11 Carp and 2 Catfish.

This week 8 anglers fished, and a total of 58 fish were caught (52 carp & 6 catfish).Once again every angler catching fish to over 30lb! The biggest Carp was caught by Stephen at 50lb 4oz and the biggest Catfish by Marco at 81lb.A 70lb+ catfish was also caught by Chris.A total of six personal bests caught this week! This week a group of 5 anglers carried out a pre season work party.The anglers Raf,Jacko,Jason and Cemex baliffs Ali & Ian Stevens also managed to do some fishing.A total of 42 Carp and 1 Catfish were caught.Four Carp of over 40lb and a further sixteen Carp over 30lb landed ! Top rod was Ian with carp to 42lb 10oz and the only Catfish of 30lb+.Thanks again lads for all the work which you carried out.

1st Nov. - 29th Nov.
This was the first month of winter fishing and the few anglers that braved the colder conditions were well rewarded.A good number of carp were caught into the 40lb bracket.The last week of the month gave 4 anglers a total of 54 carp.Hippy mick catching the biggest carp at 43lb,he also caught 2 other 40lb fish.
25th - 1st Nov.
This week 2 anglers Marco and Jan from Holland fished Bluewater.Field Testing a new boilie for Proline they caught a total of 28 carp to 42lb.A further 4 dutch anglers fished for 3 days and caught carp to 50lb 7oz.Biggest carp of the week to Sander.Aron catching his personal best carp at 44lb 9oz
18th - 25th Oct.
This week we had the first frosts of the year and the fishing was again slow.Top Rod for the week was Ian with 6 carp to 32lb.Biggest carp of the week to Paul at 41lb

6 Anglers fished this week and caught a total of 25 Carp.In a slow week the biggest carp was caught by Jacko at 43lb, he also had a 42lb carp! Top rod for the week was Ali with 7 carp to 41lb.
2008 4th - 11th OCT.
Only 4 Anglers fishing Bluewater this week, Sander from Holland catching a personal best and New Lake Record Mirror Carp Of 60lb 8oz! Michael also smashed his personal best several times with carp to 38lb 0oz
2008 27th - 4th OCT.
Cold conditions again this week and the fishing continued to be difficult.A total of 43 carp were caught and 1 catfish.The biggest carp of the week to Roeland at 42lb,he also caught a 41lb carp.Mark catching a personal best carp of 41lb 4oz.Steve caught the only catfish of the week at 36lb.
2008 20th - 27th SEPT.
The 6 anglers this week had to contend with unseasonal N/Easterly winds and a high pressure system,but they still manged to catch a total of 49 fish (46 carp,2 catfish and the sturgeon at 84lb ) Highlite of the week was a new lake record Mirror Carp of 59lb 8oz caught by Natham.A total of 4 personal bests were caught!
2008 13th - 20th SEPT.
The biggest carp of the season was caught this week! a 55lb mirror carp, the lucky angler was Ken.3 anglers catching carp over 40lb! top rod for the week was Jason with 29 carp to 37lb 8oz. Jamie caught the biggest catfish at 70lb.Andrew catching the sturgeon at 84lb
2008 6th Sept - 13th Sept.
This week members of Fishing Forum visited Bluewater Lakes.Everyone of the group caught one or more personal bests!The biggest carp fo the week was caught by 'Banana' Steve at 41lb.The biggest catfish was caught by 'Pingo' Dave at 76lb.And also this week Claudia caught the biggest carp by a female angler so far this year at 40lb 7oz
2008 30th August - 6th Sept.
This week 8 anglers from Kent fished Bluewater lakes catching a total of 81 fish, 5 more than last year! Six angler's caught carp in excess of 40lb. Biggest carp to Melvin at 48lb.5oz , Biggest catfish to Andy at 62lb.The sturgeon (dame shirley) at 84lb was caught twice by Peter. Six angler's catching personal best's,. All fish were caught on Premier baits Matrix boilies.

This week 6 anglers from the Wirral visited Bluewater Lakes.A total of 56 fish were caught ,with 5 anglers catching personal bests.Biggest carp of the week was caught by Colin at 41lb who also had a 39lb carp and biggest catfish to Brian at 48lb.

This week Bluewater welcomes the Jenkins group, big fish continue to be caught, with the biggest carp and seasons best so far at 49lb 12oz to Ralph,45lb 8oz to Mark and 44lb 12oz to Andy.Biggest catfish to Mark at 76lb who also caught 5 others up to 62lb. The sturgeon at 84lb was also caught by Mark. A total of 5 personal bests caught this week .
9TH - 16TH August 2008
This week Bluewater welcomed back Blue Icons , the week was a great week for big fish with 6 carp over 40lb and 4 catfish over 70lb plus the sturgeon at 82lb 8oz. The biggest carp of the week was caught by Luke at 47lb and he included in his catch a second carp at 40lb 8oz, the biggest catfish of the week was caught by Steve at 80lb he also caught the sturgeon at 82lb 8oz . Five anglers in the group caught carp over 40lb!A total of 55 fish caught.
2nd - 9th August 2008
This week saw Zacc Harvey, ex UK's strongest man, ex Mr UK bodybuilder, Stripper and TV Personality with his crew from the Wigan area. They were joined by Bluewater regular Ray and his brother Skippy Pete from Australia. A total of 62 fish were caught 10 over 30lb biggest carp 36lb to Zacc, biggest catfish 80lb to Foxy, and the biggest grasscarp 29lb 5oz again to Foxy. (This was incerdently the number of fish caught the same week last year!)

19th - 26th July 2008 This was the second week at Bluewater for the Tapley family and they were joined by the Pates gang.The Pates family father and son both improving on there previous week catches.Ian junior catching the biggest carp at 41lb 4oz and Ian senior catching the biggest catfish at 76lb 12oz ,he also caught a 72lb catfish.
12th - 19th July 2008
This week Rick and Jay + the Tapley family fished Bluewater.The weather was very still and hot but some good fish were caught. Biggest carp of the week was caught by Ian junior at 40lb 12oz, biggest cat fish to Ian senior at 76lb 8oz biggest grass carp caught by Rick at 39lb 8oz.
5th - 12th July 2008 This week 6 anglers from Essex booked the lake exclusively. The lake fished slower than of late, but they still managed 6 personal bests.
Biggest carp 36lb, biggest catfish 42lb biggest grass carp 31lb 8oz and a surprise 15lb kio carp!!
28thJune - 5th July 2008 This week saw the warmest week of the year so far. In difficult conditions the Maynard group still managed 44 fish!!
Biggest carp was 39lb4oz to Andy and biggest catfish to Bob 68lb.
14th - 21st June 2008
This week 3 essex anglers had the lake to themselves and took full advantage of it. A total weight of 1000lbs were caught. All the anglers caught personal bests, each catching carp over 39lb, 2 x 40lbs 5 x 35 5 x 30lb 20 x 20lbs 4 x 10lb plus 2 x 20 catfish. The best baits were fishmeal boilies and pellett.
7th - 14th June 2008
Fishing is slow this week, due to low water temperature. As the weather improved a total of 20 fish caught, biggest to Rob Russell who was top rod for the week with 8 carp and a 31lb grass carp. 4 anglers caught their personal bests.

8 anglers fished the week including big fish angler MArco froim Holland. A total of 39 fish caught biggest 45.15lb to David. In all 5 personal bests were caught!!
Marco's 31/2 year old son Gavin was top rod for the week with 31 silver fish.

This week the group from Coventry visited Blue Water led by Helen and Andy. A total of 48 fish were landed. Biggest carp 37lb mirror and a catfish at 65lb. Top rod was Milsey, bieggest carp to Rob. A total of 6 anglers catching carp over 30lb.
